Winter Camp at Frog Pond

Sponsored by the Highland Street Foundation, Winter Camp provides FREE ice skating for children and families during February school vacation. Admission includes skate rentals, 11 skating aids (limited number allowed on the ice per session), and free hot chocolate and donuts!

winter camp logoTickets for the following time slots will be given daily on a first-come, first-served basis at Frog Pond starting at 10:00am. 

Session 1: 10:00-11:30 am
Session 2: 12:00-1:30 pm
Session 3: 2:00-3:30 pm
Session 4: 4:00-5:30 pm
Session 5: 6:00-7:30 pm
Session 6: 8:00-9:30 pm

Winter Fest on Boston Common

Mayor Martin J. Walsh and the Boston Parks and Recreation Department will be bringing the annual Children’s Winter Festival to Boston Common in partnership with the Highland Street Foundation during school vacation week on Wednesday, February 21, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Among the attractions will the 45-foot-long Toboggan Tunnel mountainous adventure with twin roller lanes, the 30-foot-high inflatable Everest Climb N Slide, and the Snow Mazing maze.

About Highland Street Foundation

The Highland Street Foundation is a local, philanthropic organization providing children and families in the Boston community with access and opportunities in education, housing, mentorship, health care, the environment and the arts. They do incredible work for the citizens of Boston throughout the year.

The Skating Club of Boston is pleased to support the program as part of its own mission to promote figure skating. In addition to providing free skate rentals, they are also offering use of skating aids and lockers (limited availability) for the kids.
