The Boston Common Frog Pond sits at the heart of Boston Common, the oldest and most treasured public park in the U.S. With a winter ice rink and skating school, a reflecting pool in the spring and fall, and a summer spray pool and children’s carousel, there are always fun and exciting activities for residents and tourists alike.

Join in the fun at one of the year-round Frog Pond events or stop by to enjoy the scenery, complimentary Wi-Fi and something delicious from the café.

February Vacation Week

2016 Children's Winter Festival

Visit Boston Common February 16, 2016 to race down a three-story toboggan slide, take a photo in a 15-foot tall snow globe and participate in other outdoor fun!

Free Skating Sponsored by Highland Street Foundation

Visit Frog Pond February 15-19, 2016 for free ice skating sponsored by Highland Street Foundation during school vacation week. A limited number of time slot tickets will be available each day at 10am. Skate rentals are free while supplies last and the café will be open to purchase refreshments. Join Highland Street Foundation for a fun week of free skating at Boston's historic Frog Pond!
