SUMMARY:Pumpkin Float
DESCRIPTION:Bring the entire family to the annual Fall Pumpkin Float at Frog Pond featuring floating pumpkins\, luminaries and fun family activities. Refreshments\, music and child-focused activities will make this a frightfully-fun way to celebrate Halloween! \nThis is a FREE event presented by Boston Parks and Recreation in partnership with The Skating Club of Boston \nBring-Your-Own Pumpkin\nBring your carved 8-inch pumpkin to one of the drop-off areas alongside the pond. We will illuminate them and float them for you. Watch as the pond fills up with glowing pumpkins. \nYour carved and decorated jack-o’-lanterns must be 8” in diameter\, or smaller\, and already hollowed out or they will not float. After the event\, they will be composted by The Trustees of Reservations. \nPumpkin Carving Display\nLocal businesses\, teams\, organizations\, and colleges are invited to carve and submit a pumpkin to display at the annual Fall Pumpkin Float.
